Trinity's Children/Youth Chorus rehearses weekly at 12pm after the Sunday 10:30am service. All children are welcome!

Youth Christian Education is the combination of the Episcopal Children's Curriculum (ECC), the Journey to Adulthood (J2A) and the Children's Chapel ministries. The Journey to adulthood (J2A) is held Sundays 9:30am until 10:30 am at which time, the youth participating in the J2A program may join their families at the 10:30 am worship service. The Sunday School with the Episcopal Children's Curriculum (ECC) will be held Sundays 9:15 am in the Undercroft. Immediately following the Children's Curriculum, at 10:30 am , the children will have their worship service. The service will conclude at the 10:30 am Peace, and the children will reunite with their parents at the 10:30 service.

Youth Christian Education Ministry Age Groups

ECC consists of:
Preschool thru Kindergarten: ages 4-5
Primary: ages 6 - 8
Intermediate: ages 9-10

J2A consists of:
Youth: ages 11 - 17

Program focus:
ECC is designed for intentional, systematic, classroom-centered interactions between teachers and young learners. The Curriculum seeks to provide resources that will support Episcopal Sunday Schools and other organized programs of Christian education.

J2A is built around three distinct phases:

Rite 13 (11 to 13 year olds) recognizes the passage from childhood to manhood and womanhood.
J2A works with 14 and 15 year olds as they practice adulthood skills and positive life attitudes.
Young Adults in the church (YAC) asks youths 16 and 17 year olds, to assume the responsibilities of an adult.

Objectives (Rite-13):

Rite-13 is a two-year program designed to build self-esteem in the context of the Christian community. This requires lay leaders, clergy and the parish at large to work together to establish a framework for friendships which bridge gender stereotypes.

Goals:

- To celebrate God's gift of manhood and womanhood.
- To affirm the power of creative energy and to explore the thoughts and disciplines which allow individuals to effect change in the world.
- To teach, by word and example, the principles of freedom, responsibility and friendship.
